One Block Muscat 2011 Intense orange-peel grapey nose. Residual sugar is a mere 1 g/l but at first you are fooled into thinking it might be sweet. Very bright fruit. Real pzazz. A great aperitif? Can't see any point in ageing this but it has lift and neither phenolic bitterness nor heaviness that plagues some examples of the genre. 16
La Terre Promise 2011 Nicely balanced and with zesty acidity. Well made and round with attractive light smokiness. Should develop further. 16
Tahi 2007 Lifted and lively and racy. A light touch. Cassis! Very neat. 16.5+
Tahi 2008 Meaty overtones on the bright fruit. Serious wine with real local personality. 16.5
Three Peaks 2009 Nicely integrated with a little development. Well-polished ripe blend. Not hot and nice and juicy. Confident winemaking. Bright fruit. The opposite of rustic. 16.5
Le Ciel Vide 2010 Ripe black fruits and only a little hole in the mid palate. Easy, pleasing and full of primary fruit. 15.5
Muscat de Rivesaltes 2011 Whistle clean and pale gold. Lovely fresh golden syrup and orange flower nose. Firm but not hot. A delight. Nice undercurrent of toasted citrus peel. Brilliantly fresh and clean. Why don't people drink sweet wines? This was great with roquefort. At lunchtime. 16.5
